Offered here is a fine Persian silver vase dated 1913 (1332) in Farsi at the rim. This piece is hand embellished with rich and complex chasing and repousse scenes featuring beautiful long tailed birds and a multitude of flowers. Condition is exceedingly good with one very minor dint and scant reworking at the very base. A nice patina combined with a high polish on the smooth spots gives this piece a lot of contrast.
The history of the piece is told in Farsi engravings. These translate roughly to, Spring 1332 Gift From Professor Nematollah Pirmard to Ms. Dimensions: 8.25" tall and 4.5" wide.
