A large round wax seal with corresponding silk bag decorated with gold threads. Dated 1251 AH (circa 1835). Dimension of seal : about 7 cm (diameter). Dimension of bag: about 30 x 10,5 cm.Condition: Very good despite minor defects on the reverse and minor wear to bag. A square wax seal pasted on thick paper. We are unable to provide additional details on this item despite some faded ancient annotations in English on the paper it was pasted. Dimension of seal : about 5,5 x 5 cm. A letter dated with originaç envelope dated. 1257 AH enclosed in a sealed silk brocade bag with gold threads.
Envelope & wax seal the inscriptions in Persian " Bahadur Maharaja Rana". Letter stamped with seven geometrical markings in gold, was also written in Persian script and addressed to an Englishman at the time living in India. Letter dated 1257 AH (22nd of February 1841). Dimension of seal : about 3,5 x 3,2 cm.
